It wasn't like she hadn't been trying to find a moment with Julian. It was just that ever twist and turn she made as of lately, she couldn't find the man. It didn't help that there was a human in his life either. For Kacey, it made things that much harder. With a sigh, Kacey headed to the parts of the mansion that held the offices.
Normally, it was easy to find Tristan. At least when she looked for him. She spoke to one of the men coming from his office and offered a cheerful smile in departure. He was just another man that wanted Kacey. Or that was how Kacey thought anyhow.
When Kacey got to the door of Tristans office, she glanced around a moment. The cost seemed clear to her so she slipped inside. It wasn't in Kaceys nature to knock before entering. In her world, she just didn't bother with that to those that knew her. Seeing Tristan within, Kacey perked up a little bit.
She moved over to his desk and laid a hand to the surface of it and frowned. Tristan.. your little plan is not working. You know ..the one where I get with Julian and have that baby of his? Yeah, that one. I can't find him half the time. The other half he avoids me. And there is that pesky human with him too.
For the life of the snobby blonde girl, she just was exasperated with ideas on how to get Julian and win even more favor of Tristan. His bright idea didn't seem so bright in Kaceys head of hers. Green eyes find his and she locked on his gaze. She knew how Tristan could be, but oddly, she never feared the man. At least not really. She was already in good place with him, what did she had to lose? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - begged for this man's approval, ( AFRAID TO DIE IN VAIN) words: words go hereoutfit: heretags: Tristannotes: say whatmusic: we stitch these wounds by black veil bridescredit: gabs of a different color; @ caution 2.0 don't steal or she'll hurt you c:

Much was racing through Tristan’s mind as he sat at his oak desk, focused upon the paper that lay before him. Without his dutiful wife, standing him behind as he worked, checking his spelling and grammar, the master vampire often made mistakes. Frustration would soon followed, ten second later the desk would end up on the other side of the room.
Hopefully this time would be different. Hopefully he would not end up breaking something, all he could do was try, proceed with the paper work that needed to completed before the end of the month. Bills needed to paid. The sound of light footsteps alerted him to the presence of another, someone was heading in the direction of the offices, more precisely his office.
A soft, feminine scent floated under the door, filling his senses. Normally he would hear them stop, stead themselves before knocking. No such luck. Only one vampire outside his family would act so impatiently, so bravely. Kacey Taylor, the little blonde vampire who most viewed as annoyed, who complained and ranted about all night long.
Tristan on the other hand, founded her amusing. She was a diamond in the rough, just waiting to be moulded into the perfect vampire, the perfect daughter in law. “Kacey, what a delightful surprise” He was sugar coating his words, he was not one for being disturbed whilst working, especially when balancing the budget, it required a lot of thought and concentration.
“It is to be excepted that Julian resists” He starts, trying to calm the little blonde fire ball down “His human is another matter altogether, in the end she will break” Tristan was certain of many things, one was that Selena would not last in his coven.
“Now I have faith in you young one” He reassured Kacey, smiling ever so slightly leaning forward, resting his elbows upon the wooden surface as he gazed at the young vampire, full of bound-less energy. "Tell me how you do approve my youngest?" Tristan was highly curious of exactly how she approached Julian, how she tried to seduce the hybrid.

It went without saying that whenever you were someone like her and could gain the attention of a man such as Tristan, it spoke volumes. Kacey looked down upon his desk. She noticed he was working on the budget. This should of been one of Kaceys jobs. Pushing the numbers. She was so good at it. For a few moments she didn't speak. She just looked over what he was doing. Immediately she found a mistake. Small hand reached towards his pencil and she walked around his desk
She sat on the left side and reached over for the ledger. She erased a word or two and then fixed a number for him. When she was done, she set the pencil down and peer to the rouge like features of Tristan.Oh come on now Tristan, surprises and life doesn't start until I'm around. We both know this. Nature had it to give that cocky little smile of hers just after saying that to him.
Kacey let her hands go to her knees and wiggled back more onto his desk. Her smile went from her face immediately when he said that Julian would resist and that it was only natural. This wasn't something that she wanted to hear. She wasn't used to fighting for things. She normally got all she wanted. Hell, he even gave her what she wanted most of the time! I know Tristan, but complete resistance? He won't even look at me, much less carry anything more than a five minute conversation. As for that woman of his.. I can take care of that with just one word if you allow me. A simple bite.. Human blood such as hers would without a doubt taste good going down my throat. Id revel in every moment of it Tristan.
She brought her right hand from her knee to reach for the pencil again that she had moments before. Her hand was extended and she let the eraser end of it brush along his shoulder. She really wished she had the same faith he did in her getting what it was Tristan wanted. What she wanted deep down inside somewhere.Maybe you can give us a job to do together. That way we will have to be together. Maybe send us off somewhere? She was hopeful on this antic of hers! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - begged for this man's approval, ( AFRAID TO DIE IN VAIN) words: words go here outfit: here tags: Tristan notes: say what music: we stitch these wounds by black veil brides credit: gabs of a different color; @ caution 2.0 don't steal or she'll hurt you c:

A new idea sparked inside his head, he wondered how she would react? This was an opportunity he could not easily pass up. Kacey was nothing more than something had needed to be played with, toy with in a twisted game of cat and mouse. This was going to be fun. Now how to approach this unique situation? Fast and furious? Take what he wanted here and now or maybe play it slow and seductive, seduce her in a quivering mess that she was melted in the palm of his awaiting hand.
The second method sounded more promising, more delicious. Kacey had a cruel streak similar but ever so different to his own. His little mouse knew not was coming, he would be sly and collected in his approach to this game, this seduction as he had done in the past. Now on the hand, Kacey’s not so subtle motion, taking one of his many pencils scattered across his desk to correct his obvious mistakes. It got on his nerves when someone jumped down his throat and correct what he had done wrong, even though he could correct it himself….eventually that is.
He reached forward, wrapping his long arms tightly around her waist before gently pulling her towards him, off the desk and onto his waiting lap. “Now love, no more playing around” His patient could only go so far especially when it concerned either of his oh so loving sons.
“Julian is Julian, he will resist at every turn but he is still a vampire” He started, leaning in closer to Kacey. His grip loosened slightly, enough that she was able to move into his lap and maintain a comfortable position but not loose enough that she could escape his hold. “He will not work aside you if I were to openly tell him” This was something that frustrated him more often than not, his disobedient son, his human loving son.
A sadistic thought crossed Tristan’s mind. Oh that was good but it was the last option if everything else failed.

Only thing was, she hadn't been given a moment to think about it, prior to finding herself in his lap. Giving herself a slight wiggle to get more comfortable on his lap, she huffed out softly. No more playing around? Was he serious? What the.. She wasn't playing around. She was doing him the favor of running around to get Julian in her bed, for him. Tristan. No one else. To be frank about it, his son was outright a pain in the backside. How he dealt with a kid like that, she sure the hell did not want to even begin dreaming about. She let out a little grunt and just stared into Tristans eyes as a hand went to his chest. One finger poked him lightly.
" You have got to be kidding Tristan. You son is niave. I take that back, he is just outright stupid. I am doing this only for you. I could find alot of other things, including men around here, to occupy my time, but no, instead I'm stuck fighting your son.. and not at all making an inch in leeway for my cause. Maybe you need to help me a bit more here. I'm outright running out of options. Like it or not, that is what it is. Oh.. which reminds me.. he even had the audacity to tell me to get pregnant by another and try and trick you! That you wouldn't find out til it was well after the fact. See what I have to deal with?" Men. They were royally a pain in her rump. Well with the exception of Logan, but their love affair was different. That was secretive. Eh. Now that she thought about that too, it was no better. Gah. She sucked when it came to men.

This was starting to grate at his very short fuse, if Kacey was not careful with her words, he would burst and the result would be hellish for both her and his office. She was young, power-hungry but lacked the subtly to get far in this supernatural world of theirs. The night was a harsh, cold place to live he had learnt that lesson twice in his lengthy lifetime. First with the dead of his fairy queen and second with the death of his mate, Victoria.
Kacey had yet to understand what it took to be truly great, one had to suffer a terrible lose, it would destroy what small humanity they had left, it would mould them into monsters that lurked in the shadows, blood thirsty titans who ruled with an iron fist. At times, at his lowest this pain was not worth the power but days like one, made him feel whole once more. His son was questionable at times, he was weak yet strong in every thing he put his mind to.
Tristan could not help but feel a little proud of his own flesh and blood, however those feelings were quickly pushed aside. The arrival of the pretty but exotic human companion of his was just more fuel to the fire of disappointment that often consumed him. Kacey was a far better choice than the human, she was weak and breakable where as Kacey would not break if pushed, she would survive and fight back. She was vampire, kin where Selena was not, she was human and almost like glass when touched. He could not understand who his son would want a human like her, so angry and disrespectful of her superiors. Once more Tristan would have to use underhanded methods to obtain the results he wanted. Seducing the pretty blonde in his lap was just another game of cat and mouse, he was certain that he would win.
After all Tristan hated to lose, period.
The poke in the chest was nothing, it was simply as strong as a child touch, trying to get their parent’s attention. “My son is blinded by his infatuation with that human of his” He spat out venomously but his anger was not directed at Kacey but Julian. The boy was a fool when it came to his choice of companions, yes he had once taken human to his bed, for more than sex and food but that was centuries ago. Julian’s statement was laughable. It was impossible to pass off one’s offspring as another’s in his coven, their senses were too advanced to be fooled that easily.
Leaning in close, he smirked enjoying the feel of her soft female curves pressed against his body. It had been too long since his last encounter with a woman. “Try to pass off another’s child as my son and I will personally kill you” He seductively whispered into her ear, letting his breath caress her skin. The threat was crystal clear, he was no longer playing childish games with any member of his coven, that was boring. It was time to get serious.
