Guilt overwhelmed her as she looked at the corpse laid in the foyer. She didn't want to kill him. She hadn't even meant to but he kept going on about killing Tristan. She couldn't let him do that. She had to protect him at all costs. Unfortunately it had cost her a broken right hindleg, and the man - the hunter - his life along with Mckenna living with a lifetime of guilt and shame. She was currently telling herself the red stuff was tomato ketchup. Nothing more, and the hunter was sleeping forever. She knew the hunter could not stay here. How was anyone supposed to believe a tiny persian kitten killed the man with the large wolf looking wounds upon the man's body? No one would believe it, so she would have to hide the hunter somewhere no one else would find him. She gulped, trying not to throw up, when the animal inside her told her to eat the man. She could not do that. She was a good girl, and besides, he was just sleeping. Right?
A whimper escaped the wolf's lips before she reluctantly grabbed the body by the neck. She dragged him down the hallways towards the kitchen. Thankfully it was during the day so no one would be awake and downstairs. Anna and Harmony were probably upstairs with Harmony teaching Anna. At least, that was the sort of sounds she could pick up with her supernatural hearing. She changed into human form once in the kitchen and then proceeded to drain the hunter of his blood. No, tomato ketchup. She was just getting tomato ketchup out. Thats all. She then put the 'ketchup' in the fridge along with the rest of the packaged blood that was kept. Grabbing a large black bin bag and a large butcher's knife she began cutting the body into smaller pieces whilst telling herself she was just chopping wood with playdough covering it. Nothing more and nothing less. She then put the pieces into the bin bag before going into wolf form.
She grabbed the bag with her teeth before trotting outside. She went deep into the forest before identifying the scents upon the breeze. It wasn't long before she found just what she was looking for. Mckenna trotted over to the cave-like den which housed a rogue female wolf with four pups. She put the bag down and then tore it open, dumping the contents infront of the five wolves before burying the bin bag. As she left she heard the wolves eating. They needed it. They were starving. She ran back to Tristan's home, but stayed within the tree line. She licked the tomato ketchup from her paws, muzzle, and legs before she changed back to her chocolate brown persian kitten form. Forcing herself not to think about anything that happened she trotted back inside the house, eventually making her way back into the foyer. She paused mid-stride, glancing towards the stairs as she heard people moving.
