Oracles
This small class of humans has a special ability to see into the future through visions. The powers of an oracle are passed down from generation to generation by the mother. Thus, a male oracle is possible but he cannot give his children the gift of foresight unless he has a family with a female oracle. The visions don’t come to an oracle until they reach puberty. Until that point the visions they have may come as dreams that they may not fully remember the next day.
At any given point there can only be three oracles in an area. If more than three pop up natural disasters arise to fix the problem because of all the cosmic energy overflowing in one space. A good example would be the massive and very damaging earthquake in Japan when an oracle gave birth to twins when they already had two other oracles. Or when several oracles arrived in New Orleans causing Hurricane Katrina to fall upon the city.
Hunter
Yes there are a number of hunters out there whom live to do nothing but hunt vampires and lycans. They feel that both races are abomination or have simply had bad experiences with either. Their soul purpose in life is to hunt down and kill any vampire or lycan that comes in their path. They don't want to see anyone else fall under the influence of these people.
Not everyone is a hunter. Only individuals who have either been born into a family of hunters, and trained thought their lives to kill vampires and lycans are hunters. As well, several individuals who have had close encounters and lived to tell about the tale pursue such a dangerous path in life.
