Desdaemona, instead of hanging in the coven, had decided she was going to visit the park. Those humans said to be on guard at night, and Des decided no human would ruin her night. If they did, they would most definitely pay the price. Instead of calling for somebody nearby, Des slammed her pale arm against a tree, hiding herself behind it. She had chosen tight clothes so they wouldn't be seen by a human from being behind the tree.
Some humans had a daft theory that thieves came here. You can call vampires blood thieves, but Des didn't like herself to be called that. Yeah, Des had been feeling sympathy for humans of the recent events, but her first bit of fresh human blood had been too delightful and delicious to let hold of. So Des had snuck out from the coven - but that was normal! She tried out new restaurants, and she guessed it was fine to leave the coven for this night, to get solitude and maybe a bite to- drink.
Rolling her eyes, Des moved around, to check for company. There was a little tapping of feet, which entered the park quite happily, and Des watched the person. She looked around nineteen, good for Des, pretty much. Des moved towards her prey, then grabbed her. The girl, letting out a startled cry, glanced towards Des, and simply questioned why her skin was pale. Des didn't reply, then bit deep, the prey uttering loud screams of help. All the better for the fledgling.
Yes, she was causing havoc. But that didn't matter. She put the thought aside, then continued to drink. She pushed the girl to the ground, then left her there, and ran to hide. Somebody would see that weak, feeble human body, and run to help. That would be Des's next target. Watching the girl closely, Des growled and watched the gates for her next target.
