[/IMG] There wasn't much to do for a Monday evening around the estate. It seemed everyone had other plans. Or it was just that they avoided the arrogant brat Kacey. She'd never admit it, but she did tend to annoy the one and all at some point. Can't blame the beautiful blonde for being what she is!
Shad been sitting in her room for about an hour when the thought crossed her mind of doing something that none had seemed to do as of late. Swimming. The pool was just to the opposite side of the estate and she knew the water would be refreshing. Perhaps it'd even clear her thoughts from the days events. She was hopeful of this.
Kacey lifted up from her bed and went to her closet. Inside the sliding doors of the closet and on the shelf to her left were the rainbow of colors she called bathing suits. She had about every color imaginable. She wasn't in the mood to stand out or for something dull. So with a scan of fingers brushing over the fabric of each suit, she found a white bikini and pulled it out. A twist and turn of her body and she was heading back towards her bed to slip out of her jeans and top outfit and sliding into her bathing suit. After a few minutes passed of doing the girlie thing, like putting her hair up and grabbing the romance book she was reading, she headed out of her room with a slam of the wooden door.
She loved that old song by Katy Perry.. the one called E.T. and that was what she was humming to herself as she walked the halls and corridors to the living room. She pushed through the glass doors soon enough and was out in the vast openness of the pool area. A peek around told her that she was alone. Truth be told, it looked as if none had been there in at least a week.
The smile grew on her lips as she headed to a lounge chair and set her book, cell, and towel down. The house had a heated pool, so she wasn't worried about taking it easy getting in. She swiftly turned around and headed over to the deep end of the pool. Diving in, she slowly pushed her way up to the surface. The warm water felt refreshing to her. She swam to the edge of the pool and while holding onto the ledge with one hand, she used her other to wipe the water from her eyes.

Pushing his shaky fingers through his hair, Julian stepped out into the backyard of the mansion from the forest. The hybrid looked like a complete mess. His body was still healing and recovering from the transformation and his clothing was completely tattered and dirty from his journey in the forest. He had been gone most of the weekend due to the full moon. Being a hybrid meant that during a full moon his wolf half decided to make a drastic appearance every so often and this weekend had been a full moon. Over the last couple of years, Julian had found himself a tiny shack in the middle of nowhere up north where no one would see him changing. He did not need anyone seeing that side of him and how painful the change still was for him. Not having learned to properly change like most lycan’s did during their lives, the young hybrid had to learn everything on his own and he wasn’t even sure any of it really was correct.
Despite that he still went to his secluded area to change knowing that at least no one could really get to him. He had found the place a long time ago while on a search for a rogue vampire. Since then, every full moon he would disappear, trying his best to cover his scent. It didn’t seem like anyone really knew where he was going. Most often forgot that he wasn’t full vampire and had another change to get through. Right now, he was worn out and somewhat weak from what his body had just endured.
Getting to the mansion, his mind was on nothing but getting to his bed to crash and sleep for the next week if he could. Before he could really get to bed, he needed to make sure that Selena was still alive and well. During his time away, he hadn’t really received any urgent text telling him he needed to come back which was a good sign. Half asleep, he stumbled through the back yard not paying much attention to what was going on around him. His mind being focused on sleep, and his body aching for a good rest, he was oblivious to anyone being at the pool as he passed by it. The walk to the mansion was so familiar he could do it with his eyes closed. Had he been paying attention to what was going on around him, he would have avoided the pool area the moment he saw the woman there. It seemed he was quite out of lucky today.

[/IMG] Kacey contined to wipe the water from her eyes a moment longer. It wasn't til she saw something in her side vision did she lower that hand back into the water. Her emerald eyes took in the sight. It was Julian. The last person she expected to fall upon her path so easily. Afterall, she had been hunting the man down just about to get a moment alone with him!
She watched as he crossed in front of the pool. It only took a minute to ponder over speaking up. Of course she'd speak up to him.. this was the very man that Tristan was pushing on her after all. The very man she had in the past had a secret encounter with once..or twice. She wasn't counting."Julian? Hi..Care to join me in some talk or a swim?"
Kacey offered him a little bit of a smile. She could be nice. At times. When she wanted something or needed something in her behalf. Swimmig to the shallow side of the pool, she lifted up out of the water and stepped over to him. Her small hand came out to gently brush across his wrist. It was to further invite him to join her. "It looks like you could use some relaxation..I could rub your back some in the water?" Thank god no one else was around to hear Kacey. This was so not her at all!
She wrapped her fingers into his a moment later and lightly tugged him towards the pool with one hand. The other hand came towards the shirt he was wearing. One finger nail ran down along it. " You don't need this.."

Still somewhat groggy from the change, Julian’s mind was focused on two things. Getting to his room, where he could hide for the next week and sleep in his bed. In the shack he really didn’t have anything comfortable to stretch out on. It came equipped with a tiny cot the he was far too tall for. There wasn’t even a good pillow but that was simply because he wasn’t calling the place home. The lack of comfort in the shack gave him motivation to come home and pass out on his bed. The second thing that was on his mind was finally getting to see his mate. Having been away for a good three days, he felt like it had been forever since he had seen the Hispanic woman he adored. Since his adventure to the island, he hadn’t actually been away from the woman for longer than a day. Usually on full moons on Ilas it was a lot easier to blend in with the rest.
It was weird to be back home in a similar routine he had before leaving for Ilsa, however nothing was the same anymore. His life had taken a completely unexpected turn, for the better at least. During his walk through the yard however, the young hybrid’s train of thought was interrupted when an all too familiar yet annoying voice spoke his name. Groaning from the sheer knowledge that the woman had finally caught up with him, Julian glanced over to where Kacey was. “I’d rather not.” he replied to her comment on swimming or simply talking with him.
Before he could get back to heading inside, he felt her hand on his wrist and tugged it back away quickly. “I sure could use one, but certainly not from you Kacey. Now run along and go annoy someone else.” he explained running his hand through his already messy hair. The strands merely stood up on end staying like that while he turned to head to the mansion. Problem was at that exact moment Kacey started dragging him towards the pool instead. Being exhausted, he stumbled in her direction for a moment before stopping. He was quite awake the moment her hands were on his shirt, grabbing a hold of both her hands quickly to prevent her from doing anything. “What part of not interested did you not comprehend?” he asked debating if he should simply push her into the water and leave. “Now be a good little vampire and go back to treading water while I go unwind.” he added letting her wrists go at that point.

He was resisting her at every single antic she was trying. With a soft sigh, she looked up and into his eyes. For the life of her, she couldn't figure out why he was being so damn stubborn about her. It wasn't her! At least that was how she thought of it.
She watched as he took ahold of her hands. The frown she wore was immediate. She understood no, but just didn't like hearing it or wanted to accept it. Didn't he know that?Julian. must you be such a jerk all the time towards me? Seriously? I mean look.. Its late in the day, no one is around and this is just between us. I want to talk to you some. Do me the honors, jesus.
She pulled her hands free from him, just so happened he released them too at this moment, and turned to take a few steps from him. She now suddenly wondered what the use was. He was such an ass to her, even when she was trying to play nice and be sincere in the slightest. It was upsetting to her in all honesty. .She brought her hands up to run through her hair and sighed out loud. Her gaze went to the water.
For one minute you can't even be nice to me or civil. For a flash of a moment, you'd think that Kaceys feelings were hurt. They were, too. The tone she had said this to him was soft, barely above a whisper. A hint to maybe that inner Kacey. The one that no one ever saw.

Julian felt like his head was about to explode as he stood there trying to fight Kacey off of him. Part of him wanted to run off again going somewhere else in the world. Traveling was something he enjoyed and getting out of here would be a good idea. The more he thought about it, the more he wished he could up and leave again. It might just be what they needed and given how much he and Selena were fighting since they got here, it might be a good thing. Not only was he tired of fighting but he was tired of listening to everyone either complaining or giving him side way glances.
Not that Julian really cared about what anyone else really thought. He had never fit into this family and he knew that. It was just nice to have a place he could call home in a way. A place that he could come back to and people wouldn’t be kicking him out instantly. “Have you not learned by now that I’m an asshole Kacey. Honestly you claim to know me yet your surprised when I treat you like garbage.” he told her crossing his arms when he finally let her hands go. When Kacey started whining he sighed and rolled his eyes before he sat down in one of the lawn chairs. ”You’ve got one minute, talk.” he told her looking at his watch to signal when a minute would be over.
Right now he was only going to be giving her a minute because he was actually curious to see what she wanted to talk about. It wasn't every day that the crude vampire woman was nice for no reason. Not only that but she wasn't as offended by things easily. Granted Julian knew her well enough to know most of this was probably her trying to play him.

you kissed the lips of evil, ( TWO MONTHS ITS ALL THE SAME)- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Kacey slowly peeled her gaze off the surface of the water and turned back to look at Julian. She heard his statement loud and clear. He wanted nothing to do with her. At all. He might be an asshole but he didn't always have to be with her. As long as the two had known one another. Or even the times she herself wasn't the snobby bitch, didn't that count for something in his eyes? She wondered if it was even worth the attempt to argue this with him.
She didn't have to take a breath right then but did to give a sigh out in his direction. You know, you can be an asshole, I will give that to you Julian. I can be a bitch too, but even that gets old after a while don't you think? Seriously. I'm trying to be civil here. Can't you at least give in a little to fancy me in the delightment of a conversation?
Kacey walked over to a lounge chair and sat down. Her small bronze skinned arms and hands came to settle against her thighs. She gazed back to where he was and just outright frowned. Julian, the bottom line is this. We need to come to a compromise somewhere in this situation of ours. Tristan is dead seat on me becoming pregnant. By you. He is going to get that one way or another. As much as me or you want it or don't. I personally am getting tired of fighting with you on it. Its getting old. I can be doing so much more than wasting my time on arguments with you. I am not asking for a relationship with you. We both know that won't happen. Can't we just get this done and over with so everyone will be content, all the way around? Good grief.
Kacey tried the direct approach. It wasn't a secret to Julian what was wanted of one another anyhow. Besides, honesty on the matter she hoped would win her some sort of brownie points in the long run. It couldn't make matters any worse, could it? As for Kacey being manipulative or sneaky atm, she wasn't. She was being herself and truthful. She hoped that maybe Julian could see this in her too.

Laying back on the deck chair, Julian looked up at the moon for a moment as he waited for Kacey to speak spinning whatever lie she needed to. He was patient enough to sit there letting her get it out so maybe she would leave him alone for a while. Granted knowing how persistent Kacey was, Julian wasn’t going to be holding his breath. He did not see what his father saw in the woman or why in the world he even began to fandom him wanting to be with her. In any shape or form, it was simply ridiculous to him. Julian often what whoever had turned her was thinking. The girl was quite annoying and being in a room with her, whether she was vampire or human wouldn’t be all too pleasant.
Crossing his arms over his chest, he glanced over to where Kacey was snorting when the young woman comment that he was an asshole. “Might not want to waste your minute on telling me the obvious Kacey.” he told her shaking his head some when she asked if it was getting old. Her being around might be the only thing that was getting old for him. ”When have I ever been civil to you or anyone for that matter? We both know it won’t get anyone anywhere in this coven. Not with Tristan as the so called master.” he pointed out closing his eyes for a moment before he rubbed his chin.
When she started her speech, Julian quirked an eyebrow at her before tilting his head to the side for a moment as if he was pondering the thought. Getting up off the lawn chair, he walked over to where she was sitting. "Hmm you might have a point there Kacey." he told her playing along as if he had actually found the idea to be somewhat interesting He wasn't interested at all but messing with the younger woman's head might get him some entertainment. Standing there, he looked down at Kacey, bringing his hand up trailing his finger along her cheek for a moment. "You've got a nice rack..." he offered a sly smirk appearing on his face as he tilted her chin up with his finger to look up at him.
Leaning forward a bit, he kept his eyes locked with hers as he leaned down to kiss her. Instead, he they were near eye level, Julian gripped her face in his hand. "Problem is you're not all that bright Kacey." he told her tapping her blond hair with his free hand before chuckling. “Why don’t you just get knocked up by someone else and tell him it’s mine. By the time he figures out you’ll have your spawn and I’ll have an excuse not to produce one with you.” he offered not really thinking anything through.
The fact that Tristan continued to insist they work together more as part of the council was even worse. “I might have found you interesting at first Kacey, but that wore off a few decades ago. Just give it up and ignore him.” he pointed out before he let go of her face standing up straight again.

CHARACTER IMAGE HERE [/img] Kacey watched as Julian crossed his muscled arms and hands over his chest. She had the thought cross her mind that if only she could of been in a different place or time, maybe things would be so different between them. Maybe then, they both wouldn't have the pressures of his father breathing down their necks as it was right here and now. One could dream, for that brief moment, that was what she had been doing.
“Might not want to waste your minute on telling me the obvious Kacey. When have I ever been civil to you or anyone for that matter? We both know it won’t get anyone anywhere in this coven. Not with Tristan as the so called master.” This was true, Julian was far from civil, especial to someone such as herself. "Well maybe you can start and change your ways Julian. We are coming up on a new year, you know? New year, new changes, as they say." Ha. Who was she fooling. The last person to ever want to change was probably Julian. Especially at Kaceys urging no less. As for him mentioning Tristan, she shrugged a little more. " Maybe it's time to play his game then? There is a saying.. which i am sure you are quite aware of.. to keep your friends close and your enemies even closer. "
She looked around the area a moment while she thought. Her focus soon went back to Julian when he moved. She watched as he came to her. Any hopes of him actually being sincere in his words that she may have a point quickly dwindled when he heard his next comment. "You have a nice rack Kacey. " For crying out loud! He was a damn bastard. She hissed out and smacked his hand away from where it brushed across her silken flesh. She wanted to scream and yell at him. Why she hadn't, she couldn't tell you.
"Problem is you're not all that bright Kacey. Why don’t you just get knocked up by someone else and tell him it’s mine. By the time he figures out you’ll have your spawn and I’ll have an excuse not to produce one with you.” Appearantly he wasn't the smart one at the moment. To seriously think he could pull a fast one over like this on Tristan, or that she could, was unimaginable. She rolled her eyes at him. " You are more foolish than I took you for Julian, to think that idea would work. Seriously. You are insane. He knows better. Besides, I don't like to Tristan. I never have and won't start now, for this insane thought. "
"Just give it up and ignore him." Hello! This was Tristan the two were talking about. Did he seriously think it was that easy? Lord, if he did, he had major issues inside that head of his. She shook her head and just stared at him. " You know, I can fully see why now, he is doing this.. You are nothing but a foolish man. You don't think a single thing through Julian. This could work in your favor, had you had enough mind up in that head of yours."

Thinking about having to spend his free time with Kacey, only made him regret having come back to the mansion again. He initially hadn’t wanted to come here. Hell when he was in Paris with Selena he had been racking his brain for places to go aside from New York. At one point Julia just told Selena to throw a dart at a map for them to pick a place. However it really didn’t work and he ended up heading back to New York. In all the years he had been alive, Julian really never thought of the mansion as his home. Of course it was where he had grown up and where he lived but there wasn’t much there that he could really consider home. His family didn’t exactly want him around but there were people he cared about there and that was what seemed to always draw him back.
Kacey’s notion for him to change his ways was met with a snort from the older hybrid. “Really Kacey your solution is for me to just up and change? I fear you might be losing your touch.” he commented still keeping his arms crosses for that moment as he looked down at the younger woman. The one thing that she might have a point about was playing Tristan game. Rebelling really didn’t seem to work well, it only got him doing things he didn’t want and it was putting his mate in danger at the same time.
However if he did play his games it wouldn’t turn out well either in the manner that Julian knew it would either get the people he cared for pissed off at him completely or it would cause him to lose them in a different manner. The next bit only had him rolling his eyes at the blonde once more finding the longer he talked with her the more annoyed he became. “I’m not an idiot I know it won’t work but it would get him off my back once you were knocked up with another bastards spawn. Better yet, attach yourself to his first born he’ll be more accepting of that.” he added before pushing some of his already messy hair out of his face making a note to get a haircut and soon before he looked horrible.
At this point in the conversation Julian was simply getting fed up with Kacey and her chatter. Not only was he fed up but so was his wolf because the moment the words left his mouth, Julian’s hand shot out aiming to go around Kacey’s neck. “You’d be wise not to underestimate me Kacey. I could snap your neck instantly.” he offered before mulling it over for a moment. “If you think you have a better idea enlighten me Kacey.” he added wanting to see what it was she had in mind aside from actually giving in to the whole thing and sleeping with her. “No getting you knocked up is not an option.”
