Damon was born in Europe but he won't ever tell anyone exactly where since he moved around a great deal after his parents left him when he was just a young teenager. He can speak countless languages and will switch them at will so no one can actually pinpoint where he's from. Damon knows he's still young for a vampire and still has a lot to learn but he's up for it and loves to learn new things. But he's not sure about modern things like cellphones, iPods, computers he can handle but the other stuff he's not really getting the hang of.
Damon's really never had many friends in his life since he never stayed in one place for very long and doesn't trust many people as it is. So bring on the friends and help him learn how to trust other.
He's never had many enemies except some vampire hunters but he's pretty well stayed away from the vampire hunters. Damon's not really into having enemies but a few of them are fine so bring it on.
He's never dated, courted, married or been in love in general since the entire thing with his parents made him never trust anyone enough to give them his heart so he doesn't know what love feels like or that kind of emotion either for that matter. Over his long years of his lonely life he has treasured beauty both inside and out but he longs to have that in his life for eternity but has yet to find love. So whomever wants to win his heart you can try but be warned it will have to be earned and Damon's trust isn't an easy thing to get.
Damon never had a real family in his life the people who made him and weren't really there for him he doesn't think of as his parents. So he's never been able to truely know what having loved ones around him feels like. But him having an adopted family would be good for him.

devon-----------------damon**Devon is an older-brother type figure to Damon, though not a great one. Devon has a tendency to push Damon in the direction of violence and insists that vampires are the better species. His hope is that one day Damon will be much like himself.
